After last week’s Christmas Craft Marathon, we took it easy this week.
#1 Putt-Putt Fun!
We met up with some of our best buddies for a round of Putt-Putt.
Big Boy had no time for us slow pokes. He raced his way through each hole, yelling his scores as he went. Little Boy is working on not whacking the heck out of the ball!
And Tootsie? Well, she makes it look good doesn’t she?
Thankfully it was a cool summer morning. You know you live in the South when the employee hands you a can of bug spray right after you pay your money.
#2 Library Time
Our town’s library is housed in a historic school building. It is lovely and well stocked with children’s books. The children especially love the library’s new playground.
Little Boy loves books. Big Boy… not so much. Notice the yawn.
Next week I promise we will be back in action with new crafts and new adventures. But right now I’ve got a good book to read.
Don’t forget to check out our other Make Your Summer Happy Post! Week 1 (Trampoline Painting), Week 2 (beach trip), Week 3 (Mama-Made Play dough), Week 4 (Watercolor/Glue Artwork), Week 5 (Super Spy Training).
