A couple of weeks ago, I met a few friends of mine for Ladies’ Night at the new paint your own pottery place here in town. After a little painting, some munchies, and a bottle glass of wine this little guy came home with me. Hello little blue crab! Seriously. Painting with my girlfriends was so much fun. Pretties on the Table (A beachy vignette)
Vignettes are all “the thing ” on DIY decorating blogs. Basically that’s a fancy word for creating a small scene with objects to tell a story. It encourages you to be thoughtful in your choosing and placement. Unfortunately for the past nine years most of our table tops have been barren of anything that might resemble a vignette. No picture frames, precious collectibles, or flowers.
