Trust me.

Or use fabulous slow cooker liners for easy cleanup. I love these things!

Step 2 – Add Ingredients

Add meatballs, pasta sauce, and chopped pepperoni then mix thoroughly.

Step 3 – Cook

Cook this slow cooker recipe with meatballs on HIGH for 3 hours or LOW for 5 hours.

Step 4 – Add Cheesy Goodness

Top with cheese and allow to melt.

Step 5 – Have Fun with a Toppings Bar

Serve with your favorite pizza toppings and enjoy!

The meatballs’ saucy, yummy goodness was delicious on their own but we kicked it up a notch by creating a pizza topping bar to go with the slow cooker recipe.

Our guests loved adding their own green olives, banana peppers, and red pepper flakes on top of their meatballs.

    Thanks!

When you say “chopped pepperoni” how small should they be? I see in your pictures they are the precut circles but I’m assuming you put those on as a topping.

Is 4 – 12 oz bags correct? It just seems like a LOT of meatballs. How many does this serve? Thanks!

This recipe does make a lot of meatballs but my family of family loves them. If we have leftovers I use them to make meatball sandwiches or add to spaghetti. Thanks so much for visiting my blog!

Frozen meatballs actually have bread crumbs in them. It’s how you make meatballs. Bread crumbs. So this isn’t low carb. I would imagine you would have to make your own meatballs (um no!) or search high and low to find a meatball with no bread crumbs in it! (Good luck)

My meat balls that I bought at the store are 6 carbs! That’s low carb if you ask me! If not LOW then lower than other meals I would eat! Very excited to try this healthy family friendly meal! Thank you!

I just took my beef breakfast sausage and made them into balls for meat balls nothing else! So low carb for me and I made my own sauce added xylitol to sweeten a little and added turkey pepperoni mushroom and onions. Can’t wait to try it!

Since this is called “Meatball Pizza Bake” wouldn’t this taste good with using pizza sauce and shredded pizza cheese instead of pasta sauce and regular shredded cheese, just a thought.
