Cindy’s Chicken Salad Recipe

As promised, I am sharing Cindy’s Famous Chicken Salad Recipe with you. This delicious, simple to make recipe was the star of the Steeplechase Tailgate Party this year!

Sweet & Tangy Chicken Salad Recipe by 3 Little Greenwoods {3littlegreenwoods.com}

Why is it famous?

Because once someone gets mouth full of this creamy chicken salad bursting with sweet grapes and salty cheese, their eyes light up! They *need* to know what’s in it!

That’s the best part. There’s only five ingredients! This post contains some affiliate links. Click here to read my full disclosure policy.

Brianna’s Home Style Poppy Seed Dressing is the secret ingredient that gives the chicken salad it’s sweet and tangy flavor.

Do not try substituting this brand with another. It won’t taste the same!

Yes, it is awesome on fresh South Carolina peaches. 😉

Yes, there really is a Cindy. She is a sassy girl from Tennessee who I love dearly. It makes my day to call her up to listen twangy accent tell me of her newest favorite book and hash over the last episode of Game of Thrones. {John Snow… swoon!}

For every Weekend Girl’s Getaway at the beach, Cindy would bring a huge bowl of her chicken salad for us to snack on.

Darn, I miss that girl. Guess I’ll have to whip up some more chicken salad to sooth my heartache. 😉

Do you have a dish that reminds you of a great friend? If so, please share it with me. I’d love to hear your best friend food story!

 Your comments totally make my day! They give me huge motivation to

keep creating and having fun with my 3 Little Greenwoods!

      I hope you can find it! My husband teases me about being so cheap and buying store brands for almost everything but not this. Sometimes the brand does make the difference. Thanks so much for following along!

    I am going to look for this dressing. Also, I think I might add some bacon. Because a little bacon never hurt anything…

    update! I just found the dressing on Amazon in 6 packs of bottles for $29 and some change with free shipping. That seems like a good deal, and would be great for people who cannot find it locally. HTH!!!
