Our town is full of fun Fall activities. On any given weekend we can go to an Oktoberfest, Chocolate Festival, or Family Day at the Park.
But our favorite Fall Festival is the one we have with our family.
My daddy is the oldest of nine children. Four of those children (including Daddy) were born in October. Even my Grandma’s birthday is in October. There are so many October birthdays that my family began to have one big Family Fall Festival to celebrate.
It started out as a simple cookout. But thanks to my crafty aunts to has grown into an apple bobbing, pumpkin painting, super fun time! This post may contain affiliate links marked with an asterisk. Click here to see my complete disclosure policy.
Here’s the Pumpkin Painting table.
This is my sweet Grandma supervising some pumpkin painting. She is the artist behind this colorful bird painting in Tootsie’s room and the beautiful ceramic cabbage on my fall mantel.
Big Boy is working the Marble Painting table.
We even had Apple Bobbing!
This is Apple Bobbing Tootsie-Style! She was quite proud of her two year old little self.
The boys favorite game was the electronic Shooting Gallery. Line ’em up!
Shoot ’em down!
They loved setting up the bottles and caps so they could be knocked down again and again! It was such a hit with the children that we purchased our own Electronic Shooting Game*.
Who needs a fair when you have awesome aunts to set fun games? The children even won prizes.
Say hello to Froggy!
Then we ate birthday cake!
Happy birthday Daddy! And Grandma. And Uncle Mike. And Aunt Gail, Aunt Carol and Aunt Missey!
I am so grateful to be a small part of this huge loving family. My grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins provide me with the history of who I am.
And if I go missing it’s because my aunties have locked me in a closet for posting a picture of them. 😉
