Happy New Year, everyone!
Before I begin this year in review of all The Good, Bad, and Yummy of 3 Little Greenwoods, I want to thank each of you from the bottom on my little bloggy heart for following me along on this journey. Without all of you reading, pinning, and commenting on my posts I wouldn’t have made it this far.
{{big hugs}} to all of you!
Now let’s dish about all the DIY, crafting, and cooking craziness I’ve shared throughout 2014!
~ The Good ~
Adorable Little Girl’s Bedroom
Goal # 1 for the 2014 was transforming our daughter’s room into a space she can call her own. It took 4 months and tons of small projects along the way to complete her Adorable Little Girl Bedroom Makeover.
I am happy to report that Tootsie is still loving her dress up was and Magic Mirror! {Click here} to see the entire makeover.
2014 Kitchen Update
The kitchen got a bit of a makeover too! It went from a drab brown paint and textured wallpaper to a bright space filled with pattern and color.
The Navy Chandy is my favorite DIY home decor project of the year. It’s happy color is so much better than the fruit and butterflies monstrosity that previously hung above the kitchen table.
The big bay window in the kitchen needed a little love too. So up went a DIY Bay Window Curtain Rod and No-Sew Kitchen Curtain Panels.

Fabulous Crafts
A fun, easy craft always makes me happy! Here’s a few of my favorites from this year.
~ The Bad ~
Whether we share them or not, we all have DIY disasters along the way.
My first attempt at Paper Mache Jellyfish was definitely a disaster! But it forced me to rethink the craft and the DIY Little Mermaid Birthday Party decor turned out way cuter than I ever thought.

Then there that one summer night when I made Zucchini Crab Cakes for dinner. Honey and I thought they were pretty tasty but I couldn’t trick the children into liking them. All that talk about them tasting just like crab didn’t fool them one bit!
The bad for this year also came in this sweet, furry package!
Our yellow dog loved our DIY Container Garden so much she thought we had built it just for her. It became her favorite spot for hiding the boys’ baseball jerseys, garden gloves, and all sorts of other treasures.

~ The Yummy ~
During 2014 I challenged myself to learn how to cook traditional Southern recipes. Here’s our family’s favorites from Ashley’s School of Southern Cooking.
I can’t leave out all the fabulous birthday cakes we celebrated with in 2014. Baking birthday cakes would stress most mamas out but I love the look on their faces when they see the cakes for the first time. It’s a priceless feeling!
