Fabulous Thrift Store Find turned into a Upcycled Basket Wreath! Love the color and can’t wait to fill it with lots of colorful flowers all spring and summer!
In case you didn’t already know, I’m a sucker for an awesome front door wreath!
I’m not sure if it’s the Southern girl in me or simply the fact that I like showing off my fabulous red front door but I love adding a variety door decorations throughout the year.
Wait. Maybe it’s because I promised myself to Craft My Stash (all the treasures in my craft room) before I go back thrift store.
Here’s a peek into my awful craft room and what this basket wreath looked like before I got a coat of spray paint on it:
I actually had my eyes out for a basket wreath for a while when I came across this treasure.
For $3.03 there was no way I could leave on the shelf at the thrift store.

Upcycled Basket Wreath: Instructions
Give the thrift store basket a good wiping down to remove any dust.
Then give it a whole new look with several coats of bright spray paint. This yellow was actually chosen by my Facebook followers. Thanks so much ladies!
After the paint is completely dry, add Floral Foam to the inside of the basket then fill it with colorful flowers and grasses.
Loop a Chevron Wired Ribbon through the handle and hang it on your front door. Love it!
Bet you already spied this fabulous front door idea during the Front Porch Makeover I did a couple of weeks past. We have loved spending these cool spring days hanging out on the porch.
