I have to admit this home office update started with Rufus.
Rufus is Honey’s prize deer that we have toted from house to house across South Carolina.
Since the home office is all for Honey {not really but we are pretending remember?} the goal is to find pieces of art that go with the Southern Gentleman theme.
On this Thrifty Thursday I’m excited to share my home office art jackpot!
Honey is an avid outdoorsman so you can imagine my excitement when I spotted this huge elk print at the thrift store. With a $13 price tag there was no way it wasn’t coming home with me.
The print looks fabulous tucked into the corner with Rufus.
On the wall next to the deer is a collection of more thrift store finds. Our oldest son created the deer string art for Honey’s birthday last year. Click here for the tutorial.
My favorite piece of DIY art is the paint by number painting that the boys worked together to finish. It was a kit that I picked up for a few dollars at the thrift store last summer.
The sweet dog looks like our beloved pet. The painting was simple but it took a long time for the boys to finish. They were so proud to give this to their Daddy for his birthday.
All of these pieces together complete this corner of our Southern Gentlemen’s Home Office. They all pay tribute to Honey’s love of the outdoors and our dog.

I am not a hunter so I don’t anticipate needing to decorate with this theme however my whole family hunts so I will be passing this post along to my sister-in-law! And I love how the print ties it all together
thrift stores are the best for wall decor. completely agree. this is a really nice room.
Thanks so much! After thrift store shopping for so long I can’t make myself pay retail for any home decor piece. 😉
