I love my kitchen but…

I love my kitchen.

It is a great space with lots of cabinets, large countertops, and everything else I could ask for.

There is only one thing in my kitchen that drives me crazy. It’s an old school wall phone jack.

It sticks out like a sore thumb on the wall that leads from the kitchen to the dining room. It’s attached to the wall with the most complicated screw system I’ve ever seen and would require more work than I’m ready to do to totally remove it.

So instead of ripping the ugly thing down I completely disguised it! My DIY phone jack cover cost less than $10 to make and it fits our kitchen decor perfectly.

Hop over to my friend, Tasha’s blog {Designer Trapped in a Lawyer’s Body} to see the complete step by step tutorial for how to hide an ugly phone jack.

Pretty please leave me some comment love when you hop over to see my latest DIY project!
