The makeover of our Southern Gentlemen Home Office is moving along at a steady pace. I have already jazzed up a plastic pineapple, whipped up no-sew curtains, and upcycled some fabulous forty year old lamps.
But if I could dream it would be of adding new hardwoods and a fantastic area rug to the office. Since I was dreaming I created some Home Office Inspiration: Southern Gentlemen Style to share with you!
I love our home office space. But the orange-y colored hardwood floors would be one thing I would change if I could. The space would be so much more contemporary with darker hardwoods.
While I love a good DIY project but new hardwoods would never be a project we would tackle on our own. For us new hardwoods would be a total Don’t Do It Yourself (#DDIY) project!
This is where Carpet One comes in.
I was curious at what Carpet One had to offer so one afternoon Tootsie and I did a little window shopping. During my visit to the Carpet One store I met the store manager. Gene was very knowledgeable about flooring installation and led me to exactly what I was searching for.
As he showed me around the store, I was impressed with the variety of hardwoods, carpet choices, and wonderful area rugs in the showroom. Gene shared with me that our local Carpet One store has been locally owned for over 40 years! I love that they are a company that is invested in our community.
Carpet One offers a free in-home measurement. Gene came out the next day measure our home office. He was extremely professional and a joy to chat with. He even loved Honey’s big deer on the wall!
Honestly I cannot say enough good things about my local Carpet One store. I love their Healthier Living Installation which is a cleaner, healthier installation practice help to minimize irritants, dust and odors to encourage better air quality in customers’ homes.
Carpet One even has The Beautiful Guarantee: If you’re not 100% satisfied with your new floor, they will replace it for free!
