Need new window treatments? Got one morning? That’s all the time it took me to make No-Sew Curtains for the Dining Room!
These no-sew window treatments all started with a trip to Target… (doesn’t it always?) when I fell for the Blue Bird shower curtain by Threshold. Yes, it’s a shower curtain. Don’t tell on me.
Please note I am not a seamstress. Just a lazy girl who knows how to iron a mean fold.
Start the no-sew curtains by cutting the shower curtain in half. Literally.
I laid the shower curtain on the dining room table and cut straight up the center. Fold over a one inch seam then secure it with Stitch Witchery.
The curtains were not long enough so I cut a 12″ section from the top and bottom on my old curtains to create a 10″ panel at the bottom.
Iron, iron, iron. Glue, glue, glue.
Love, love, love!
I can’t decide which I love most: the bright, light blue paint (such a change from the drab browns) or the breezy new window treatments?
Come see the rest of the dining room re-do. I did it all within 14 days!

Love the drapes and the wall color. Such a happy combination. I host a weekly party called Inspire Me Tuesday that will be live tomorrow evening. I would love for you to link up. http://www.astrollthrulife.net. Hugs, Marty
Hi Marty! Thanks so much for leaving a reply. I love your blog and am excited to link up with you on Inspire Me Tuesday.
What a simple and fun idea.
I used to have a boss that could sew anything. She always said start with curtains if you want to learn. She always suggested taking a twin sheet and converting it to curtains as a place to start.
