The groundhog may think there’s going to be six more weeks of winter but I’m rolling my eyes at that pseudo-weatherman. This has been the warmest winter I can remember and I am welcoming spring with a new wreath for my brand new front door.
Take another look at the picture above. It’s still a fabulous shade of red (my favorite color) but there’s a wonderful stained glass window in it.
We chatted all about it on my Facebook page. Honey and I found the door for a steal in the clearance section. You should come on over and join in on all the conversation!

How to Make a Pink Roses Wreath
Step One: Prepare the Wreath
This wreath actually started life as last year’s spring wreath. It was simple to remove the floral pieces and begin again with a blank wreath.
Create a base for the floral pieces by using floral wire to attach a piece of floral foam.
Step Two: Add Texture with Grass
Start the pink roses wreath by adding long wispy grass to the foam block.
Step Three: Add Pink Roses
This wreath used two medium sized bundles of pink roses. The bundles were cut apart using wire cutters then placed evenly on the top and bottom of floral foam block.
The roses were the only things I had to purchase. They costs me less than $10 at my favorite craft store.
Step Four: Fill in Empty Spots
After digging through my supplies, I pulled pink sweet pea picks from this wreath and light green leaves from this centerpiece.
These were used to fill in all around the sides of the floral foam block.
Step Five: Add a Big Bow
A wreath this size needs a big bow!
This technique for the easiest bow ever is always a winner. But sometimes a Bowdabra Bow Making Machine is just what you need.
First, cover the floral foam with a large bow then add another bow on top of that one.
Using two different wired ribbon adds interest and makes the Spring Wreath with Pink Roses look professional.
