Jazz up your outdoor Christmas decorations with these Cheery Christmas Flower Boxes for Outdoor Christmas Decorations. They are the perfect places to add a little (or a LOT) of holiday cheer to your Christmas front porch!
I am one lucky girl for having three flower boxes on our front porch. Thank you previous owners! {Click here} to get all the details on our front porch planters.
During the summer the boxes were lush and green. Creeping Jenny, coleus, and sweet potato vine are my new favorites for warm weather.
But cold weather has hit and all the pretty was dried up. The before was so bad I started ripping out the dead plant before taking a picture. Bad blogger.

Christmas Flower Boxes ~ Supplies Needed
Wide Red Velvet Christmas Ribbon
Inexpensive Outdoor Christmas Garland
Plastic Christmas Ornaments
Simple holiday red ribbon with a cheery bow makes a huge impact.
Next I cut a cheapy 9′ garland into three pieces to give the just planted flowers a fuller look.
Add some weather resistant plastic balls and holiday picks.
A string of lights illuminates the boxes at night. It makes me happy that Honey comes home to such a cheery sight after a long day at work.
Here’s a sneak peak at the rest of the front porch. Promise to do a full post on that soon.
Holiday decorating on a budget is one of my favorite things!
