Nothing says welcome like a huge front porch. Except for maybe a huge front porch decked out for Christmas with ribbons, bows, ornaments, and twinkling lights. Lots of lights. Welcome to our Christmas Porch!
You know… I could not have the cutest Christmas Flower Boxes ever and neglect the rest of the Christmas front porch.
Besides I found a new decorating friend. Say hello to my new mesh ribbon holiday wreath!
Yes, I realize that everyone out there has been using this ribbon for years. But I just bought my first ten rolls this year.
I love that stuff!
Several strands of garland got twisted together to hang over the door. Ribbons and ornaments are grouped together for a splash of holiday color.
Make sure to check out my tutorial for The Easiest Way to Make a Bow EVER!
The children requested lots of lights outside this year so Big Boy hung white icicle lights while I was busy hunting up items to stage around the front door.
Since I am cheap all about using what I’ve got I hunted the house for goodies to create a Christmas scene. With a quick clean, the large red wagon and tricycle were ready for staging.
Just like Santa’s sleigh, the wagon is filled with a Christmas blanket, presents, a pre-light tree, and holiday friends. I love how they add a touch of whimsy to our Christmas Porch!
Thanks so much for visiting our Bright and Cheery Christmas Porch!

So cute! I LOVE red and green together! Your porch is beautiful!
Thank you! Love your thrifted reindeer! I’ve been searching for a sleigh for our dining room table centerpiece and found one at Goodwill for $2 yesterday. Score!
Now I’ve got to spruce that sleigh! Hope my redo looks as good as your’s!
Your porch is fabulous Ashely! Love those polka dot balls the best! Stopping by to let you know you are being featured on Friday’s P3 Party post! Have a great week! Thanks for pinning!
Best,
Kim
With the exception of different location for second light fixture, this could be our front porch. We already have the icicle lights. Even have flower boxes which I have NEVER decorated for holidays. Your design has inspired me more than you can imagine!
Wow! Thanks so much for letting me know our porches are so similar, Penney! We truly love ours and use it almost year round.
{BIG hugs}

How did you do the twisted garland? I’ve been wanting to do one, but all of the ones I find are out of my budget.
