Our family beach vacation is almost at an end. So sad…
But our trip wouldn’t be complete without some seriously great seafood. Lucky for us there is Bubba’s Fish Shack.
Located just a block off the beach, this causal yet scrumptious local dive totally satisfied my craving for fried seafood with their Famous Fried Flounder Sandwich.
Instead of eating cheap pizza, we left our water park/putt putt adventure for a frosty beverage and delish lunch at Bubba’s.
Sorry the picture is only showing half of the sandwich. After a morning of chasing wet boys, I inhaled this first half. The flounder was fried to crispy perfection. So was the fried green tomato peeking out from under the fillet. {I have got to learn how to cook fried green tomatoes!}
Oh my word! Now I’m hungry. Again.
Wonder if I can talk Honey into leaving the children with the rest of my family while we sneak back to Bubba’s?
I’m off to dig my toes in the sand for one more day. Just remember: if your family is ever near the Grand Strand of South Carolina’s beaches, do yourself a favor and head to Bubba’s Fish Shack. You won’t regret it.
Your comments totally make my day! They give me huge motivation to keep creating and having fun with my 3 Little Greenwoods!
I link up with these fun parties!
It looks like you guys found a great little find. I love that sign, how cute! I like finding places like that. I found a few in Maryland this week while I was there.
Ashley, I would love to know how you recreated Bubba’s fish sandwhich. It looks wonderful! I’m so glad you shared Fried Green Tomatoes…I also have a bunch in my garden.
