I’m bringing some happy to my kitchen hutch with a Rolled Fabric Flowers Art for Valentine’s Day!
After the holidays my kitchen hutch looked barren. I decided to add a little Valentine decor with a fun rolled fabric flower art project. It’s a simple art project that is a great way to use all the colorful scraps of fabric you couldn’t bare to part with!
Remember last week when I horrified my mother by showing everyone my disaster of a craft room?
As I decluttered the room I discovered some wonderfully feminine fabrics. The soft pink solid and sweet prints perfect for this month’s Make It Challenge. I made quick work of creating this rolled fabric flowers art for Valentine’s Day.

After all the fabric flowers were made, I grabbed a 8″x10″ canvas off the shelf and gave it a quick coat of watered down aqua paint. Once the canvas was dry the fabric flowers were hot glued into a simple heart shape.
To finish the rolled fabric flowers art project, the word “love” was handpainted on the corner using craft paint.
I love how this DIY art project looks in our transformed kitchen hutch! You won’t believe what this $35 yard sale find looked like before I got ahold of it!

Just watch out for burned fingers! I burn mine everytime I use my glue gun! 🙁
So pretty and perfect for Valentine’s Day! I love the colors you used too!
Aren’t aqua and pink just perfect together?
How pretty! The color combination is just lovely. I use rolled fabric flowers often, but I’ve never thought to do this. Great idea!
