I hope all the Mama’s out there had a great day yesterday! I wanted to share the gift I made for the mother’s in my life.
The crafty bug bit me last week. The plan was to make one. Just one. I ended up making TEN!
All over Pinterest I have seen these… (I tried to link up a picture but I’m not that blog-savvy yet)
I first saw the necklaces here: The Fun Cheap or Free Queen: Mother’s Day Gift Idea – Nest Necklace
Visit here for a great tutorial : Sarah Ortega’s diy bird’s nest necklace
These were super easy to create. Since I got most of the supplies on sale, they cost pennies to make.
They can be customized with birthstones or whatever jewels you like. Think about giving one as a dear friend’s birthday gift. Or an end of the year gift to all your children’s teachers.
Here’s the one I made for my 3 Little Greenwoods.
Did the crafty bug bite you? What gifts did you make or give your mother to show your love?
I love the dining room! Great job!
Thank you, Brooke! It looks to much better you person (hint, hint – we need to create another reason for you to come see us).
I love those necklaces and got to see an actual one you made. Great job it was gorgeous!
These are BEAUTIFUL! What a sweet gift! My best friend’s birthday is in two weeks, I think I might make one for her 🙂 Thanks for your sweet comments on my rosette bracelet!
Your friend will love receiving a bird’s nest necklace for her birthday. I loved making them and have given all but two away! Thanks so much for stopping by. Can’t wait to see what tutorial you will share this week!
